The Malaq Maye Institute is a newly established center that focuses on addressing key policy challenges and fostering community engagement in both Canada and Africa, with a particular emphasis on the Horn of Africa. Through a comprehensive approach that includes research projects, initiatives, podcasts, and publications, the Institute serves as a platform for collaborative thinking and solutions-driven dialogue. Our mission is to shape informed policy decisions and empower communities by providing actionable insights and knowledge.
MALAQ MAYE GROUP OF COOPERATIVES are multi-service cooperative enterprise model of Education, Marine and Fishing Institute/services, Seafood and Marine resources development, Aquaculture, Sustainable fishing and farming development, construction(Ports and Lighthouse), investment in marine real estate, marine manufacturing and industrial development in Somalia. The cooperative consortium is mix of social entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, engineers, architects, urban planners and agrarian all are interested in promoting the investment opportunities to create jobs through reconstruction and rebuilding in Somalia.
